Enhanced Autonomous Speed Control System for Integrated Cars

The Automated Vehicle Speed Control System (AVSCS) is an embedded framework that utilizes specialized hardware and software components to automatically regulate a vehicle's speed. This system is designed to be implemented in a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and autonomous vehicles, to enhance safe and efficient driving. The AVSCS comprises several essential elements: sensors, a processor or microcontroller, a control calculation algorithm, and a user interface. The sensors gather real-time data about the vehicle's current speed, weather conditions, and surrounding road environment, including wheel speed, GPS, radar, LIDAR, and cameras. The microcontroller or processor processes the sensor data and employs control algorithms, such as PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) controllers or advanced Model Predictive Control (MPC) techniques, to calculate the optimal vehicle speed. This information is then used to adjust the throttle or braking mechanisms accordingly. Additionally, the user interface allows drivers to customize the system or set their desired speed preferences, providing a seamless and personalized driving experience. Design of adaptive-PID-Smith control in the two-mixing tank series

ABSTRACT A control strategy must be developed to maintain the product composition of the two- or more-mixed-flow reactor series. In this research, a two-mixing tank series (TMTS) was utilized in the laboratory to approach the two-mixed flow reactors’ problems. Both tanks are designed to overflow so that the volume remains constant. The salt solution was directly fed to Tank 1, while the water was charged to both tanks as the mixing progressed. The output of Tank-1 flowed to Tank-2 through a rather long pipe, resulting in dead time in Tank-2. The Smith predictor was applied to overcome dead time. The PRC (process reaction curve) method was used to tune the PID (proportional-integral-derivative) parameters of Tank-1 and Tank-2. The novel composition controls, adaptive-PID (APID) and modified metaheuristic adaptive-PID (MMAPID), have been proposed and compared with conventional PID. The mathematical models were rigorously examined through XCOS simulations. The processing system is considered sensitive to changes in input disturbances since the process time constants of both tanks were quite low. The dead time of 0.5 minutes was found in Tank 2. The PID parameters produced by PRC experiments resulted in stable responses to changes in the disturbance system. As shown in the dynamic simulation study, both novel APID and MMAPID give almost the same results; their responses are faster than the conventional PID. Based on the integral absolute error (IAE) results, APID with scheduling PID parameters produced the smallest IAE and outperformed the conventional PID. The results of the study highlight APID and MMAPID potential in PID control applications for composition control in a TMTS. The combined APID-Smith and MMAPID-Smith were able to overcome the dead time well. This study creates opportunities for engineers and professionals to use cutting-edge control technologies, improving automation and chemical process industries.

Optimization of BLDC-based electric vehicles: Vehicle dynamics modelling through dual-motor approach and designing a novel augmented TLBO algorithm for PID control

The work primarily focuses on increasing the efficiency of EV drive in electric two-wheeler by working on several aspects, such as modulating the vehicle’s design, optimizing the control strategy, and increasing the speed range using a dual-motor approach. The dynamics of electric two-wheeler have been discussed with a mathematical vehicle model and further tuning of several aspects. Besides, this paper also introduces a novel Augmented Teaching and Learning based Optimization (ATLBO) technique designed exclusively to control BLDC motors for the electric two-wheeler vehicle. Besides, the designed technique has been implemented for the widely used commercial e-bike of Hero Company. Most two-wheeler electric motors are mounted on the rear side of the wheel, which has a limited speed range. Therefore, an analysis has been performed to increase the vehicle’s speed range using a dual motor, from 45 km hr−1 to 62 km hr−1, proving to be a viable alternative to a single motor generally used in an electric bike. ATLBO technique has been designed against a conventional TLBO to optimize the proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller for the speed control of a linear brushless DC (BLDC) motor. The proposed method has several advantages, including ease of implementation, a consistent convergence characteristic, and high computational efficiency. Furthermore, the literature has validated the merits of the presented novel control technique. The only disadvantage of using a dual motor is the initial cost, but the overall cost is moderated in the long-term usage for its augmented performance parameters. The performance parameters of the above technique are analyzed against other optimization techniques like conventional Teaching and Learning based optimization (TLBO), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). MATLAB/Simulink models the brushless DC motor and implements ATLBO, TLBO, and PSO algorithms. It has been found that the response obtained from ATLBO is comparatively much faster than other optimization techniques, which supports the motor for quick acceleration as well as more efficient in improving the step response characteristics such as rise time, settling time, and steady-state error in the speed control of a linear BLDC motor.

Adaptive neuro fuzzy technology to enhance PID performances within VCA for grid-connected wind system under nonlinear behaviors: FPGA hardware implementation

Wind Energy Conversion Systems (WECSs) exhibit nonlinear behavior due to internal and external disturbances, which can significantly impact the control performance. Firstly, this paper proposes a Vector Control Approach (VCA) based on Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy (ANF) of Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controllers for a variable speed Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG)-based WECS connected to the grid to address these issues. The proposed ANF-PID controller combines the robustness of the fuzzy logic with the neural network's performance to ensure high accuracy, excellent tracking, and robustness against the WECS's nonlinear behavior. The neural network automates the placement of fuzzy logic membership functions. Secondly, this paper suggests a real-time hardware implementation of the VCA based on ANF-PID using a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) to reduce the processing time and the WECS's sampling period. The effectiveness of the VCA based on ANF-PID controllers is validated by conducting a numerical simulation within the Matlab-Simulink using the Xilinx System Generator tool, alongside an experimental in-the-loop hardware implementation using FPGA board. Different scenarios are conducted to validate the robustness and stability of the proposed VCA based on ANF-PID control schemes, which is compared to Conventional Fuzzy PID (C-FPID) and PID controllers. The results exhibit that the VCA based on ANF-PID controllers outperforms VCA-C-FPID and VCA-PID controllers in terms of precision, tracking accuracy, and robustness against the WECS's nonlinear behavior and the PMSG parameter variations. The performances of the proposed controllers are tested under some criteria. In fact, the proposed ANF-PID controller provides a Mean Absolute Error (MAE), a Mean Squared Error (MSE) and a Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) of 8.1911 × 10−04, 8.4181 × 10−05 and 0.0092, respectively. Compared to the C-FPID controller, the proposed controller offers an improvement gain of 98.96 %, 99.61 %, and 93.79 % of MAE, MSE, and RMSE, respectively. When compared to the PID controller, its improvement is even more significant, with a reduction of 99.9919 %, 99.9999 %, and 99.9288 % of MAE, MSE, and RMSE, respectively. In addition, the ANF-PID-based VCA utilizes hardware resources on the FPGA efficiently, requiring only 65.60 % slices LUT, 0.28 % LUTRAM, and 22.99 % FF. This makes it a more cost-effective option compared to the VCA-C-FPID controller for diverse control systems.

Design and Experimental Study of an Embedded Controller for a Model-Based Controllable Pitch Propeller

The controllable pitch propeller hydraulic system has high constraints and nonlinearity. Due to these inherent deficiencies, the proportional–integral–derivative (PID) control algorithm cannot meet the control accuracy requirements of nonlinear systems. A control law based on a model predictive control (MPC) algorithm is designed in this paper. The gain parameters of the predictive control are optimized. The MPC and PID control systems are compared and simulated to verify the MPC controller’s effectiveness. Subsequently, the embedded controller of a controllable pitch propeller is developed. The support package for the embedded circuit board target containing an underlying driver for each interface is written by introducing the C-MEX S-Function and TLC programming language. A semi-physical simulation experiment is performed. The results show that the established controllable pitch propeller with an embedded controller displays reliable running performance, good anti-interference, and the capacity to fulfill the control function of the pitch propeller under various working conditions.

A decision-making approach on control techniques for an inverted pendulum based on, neuro-fuzzy, indirect adaptive and PID controllers

The operation of an inverted pendulum and its respective type of control are affected by the change of the values of its internal parameters. Changes with high uncertainty result in responses with undesirable outputs. In this work, a comparison is presented for the control of an inverted pendulum to determine the operation and characteristics of three types of control systems: Neuro-Fuzzy Control (NFC), Indirect Adaptive Control (IAC) and a Proportional Integral Derivative control (PID). The study considers several indices such as stabilization time, rise time, mean square error, overshoots, convergence, computational load, error, mathematical requirements, and performance indices for control systems. To demonstrate its operation, the controls are implemented in hardware, one for the NFC and another for the IAC under an Arduino UNO platform. The results indicate that the NFC and IAC controls do not generate a transient or impulse response, only a small delay and the rise and stabilization time are minimal. While PID presents a transient response and overshoot, as well as a stabilization time to reach the steady state response.

Trajectory Tracking Nonlinear Hybrid Control of Automated Guided Vehicles

Automated guided vehicles (AGVs), so necessary in industrial environments, require precise control of trajectory tracking to make accurate stops at logistics stations, such as loading stations, or to pick up or drop off trolleys, pallets, or racks. This paper proposes a hybrid control architecture for trajectory tracking of a hybrid tricycle-differential AGV. The control strategy combines conventional proportional integral derivative (PID) control with advanced nonlinear Lyapunov control (LPC). The LPC is used for trajectory tracking while the PID is used for speed control of the robot. The stability of the controller is demonstrated for any differentiable trajectory. When a PID optimized with genetic algorithms is compared with the proposed controller for several trajectories, the LPC outperforms it in all cases.

Speed Control of Induction Motors using Neuro Fuzzy Expert Systems

Induction motors and their speed control is critical aspect in several real life applications. Often, the proportional integral derivative (PID) controlling mechanism is found in several applications in industries where speed of motors or induction motors is to be controlled. The PID controller is specifically useful since it tries to minimize the steady state error as well as increase the response or speed of the system, thereby incorporating the benefits of proportional derivative and proportional integral control. However, the real time operation of PID controllers is challenging due to its tuning. The controlling mechanism is critically important for the application of the PID. Previously, manual tuning was used which needed experts and was also prone to errors. With the advent of sophisticated optimization tools, automatic tuning has gained momentum. In this work, a combination of neural networks and fuzzy logic often called neuro fuzzy expert systems has been proposed for the speed control of induction motors. It has been shown that proposed system is capable to attain better results compared to conventional techniques. The system has been designed on Matlab/Simulink. W-Leg Jumping Robot: Mechanical Design, Dynamical Analysis and Simulation of Jumping Dual Wheel-Leg Hybrid Robot

AbstractThis study primarily focuses on design, mathematically model and simulate a novel two wheel-legged hybrid robot called W-Leg Jumping robot, which has a unique ability to overcome step-like obstacles efficiently. In general, in transformable wheel-leg robot studies, the leg and wheel structure perform their movements in an interdependent manner. However, in this study, it is aimed to design a robot in which the leg and wheel structure can move independently of each other and to develop a robot that can easily overcome obstacles on flat surfaces with the wheel mode and with the leg mode. The robot can fold its legs hidden within the wheels and deploy its two degree of freedom (DoF) legs when it detects step-like obstacles. This mechanism allows the robot to overcome an obstacle with a height of twice the radius of the robot's open/close mechanism of the legs, along with the two-dimensional kinematic and dynamic analyzes of the legs, are presented in detail within the scope of this study proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller is designed to control the joint angles of the legs. The reference angle values to be followed according to the height of the obstacle are determined using artificial neural network (ANN). Additionally, motion simulations of the robot are conducted for four different obstacle heights (20, 30, 40, and 50 cm). As a result of the PID controller, when exceeding the highest obstacle of 50 cm, the average absolute joint angular tracking error is max. 1.8829°, average tracking error max. 0.265 s and max.

A fast relay feedback auto-tuning tilt-integral-derivative (TID) controller method with the fractional-order Ziegler–Nichols approach

The relay feedback auto-tuning method, which was an early commercialized approach, has maintained its popularity due to its simplicity and robustness. However, the classical proportional integral derivative (PID) controller auto-tuning method often results in unacceptable overshoot, especially for integrating and higher-order processes. By integrating the TID controller with the relay feedback technique, we significantly enhance dynamic control performance without relying on prior knowledge of the system. However, the direct application of the classical auto-tuning method to the TID controller encounters challenges due to the additional fractional-order transfer function s−1n. Therefore, we have developed a fractional-order Ziegler–Nichols (FOZ-N) approach, specifically designed to adjust the parameters of the TID controller. The proposed FOZ-N method is fast, simple, and capable of achieving the desired performance. In contrast to the previous Ziegler–Nichols tuning method, the TID controller parameters Kt and Ki are determined to shift the critical point (−1/Ku,j0) to the FOZ-N point (−0.5,−j0.7) on the Nyquist curve, ensuring system robustness and dynamic performance. The impact of the fractional order parameter s−1n and ratio r is explored through time-domain analysis, where these parameters are determined to ensure optimal dynamic performance. Additionally, we provide a detailed tuning procedure along with a helpful example. To demonstrate the advantages of the proposed auto-tuning TID controller over the Ziegler–Nichols PID controller, Optimal PID controller, simple internal model control (SIMC) PID controller, and Ziegler–Nichols FOPID controller, we present a simulation illustration involving multiple different systems. To validate the practical outcomes of this paper, we present experimental results on the temperature control of a Peltier cell.

Modeling and adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system control of quarter electric vehicle

Electric vehicles (EVs) have gained importance in recent years, prompting the development of several control systems to improve their efficiency and performance. In this work, a quarter electric vehicle (QEV) was controlled using a conventional proportional integral derivative (PID) and fuzzy controller to examine and compare with the response of the adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) controller. The response of the ANFIS controller was evaluated using MATLAB/Simulink according to different parameters and compared with those of other controllers. In addition, the simulation was based on different driving conditions such as the acceleration and deceleration modes and the type of road: wet and dry. The simulations were carried out on a longitudinal electric vehicle model based on a brushless DC motor, including the Pacejka tire model. The results showed that the ANFIS controller outperformed the PID and fuzzy logic controllers, providing superior dynamic responsiveness and stability when the ANFIS controller smoothly followed the input speed and the longitudinal slip value reached 3%.

New anti‐windup Proportional‐Integral‐Derivative for motor speed control

AbstractThe proportional‐integral‐derivative (PID) was developed and recognized for its reliability. A PID controller is not only simple but also relatively cheap. However, the controller causes system performance degeneration over time due to the presence of windup in a motor speed control system. The windup phenomenon is caused by the saturated control state. Various anti‐windup methods were introduced to decrease a system's long settling time and extreme overshooting. Most anti‐windup techniques require integral switching between saturated and unsaturated states, whereby both versions of steady‐state integral proportional‐integral controller do not need integral switching mechanism. They possess a certain degree of decoupling between and tuning parameters and tested to allow a more comprehensive range of tuning in the absence of derivative control. This research investigated the impact of derivative control component on the tuning gain decoupling through hardware simulation. By integrating the derivative component, , the control system demonstrated an improved system stability and reduced overshoot. Result shows that the decoupling feature allows SIPIC01+D and SIPIC02+D controllers to produce performance with zero overshoot and short settling time. However, SIPIC01+D has better dynamical performance with fastest rise and settling time with no overshoot as compared to other anti‐windup controllers.

Enhanced Whale Optimization Algorithm for Fuzzy Proportional–Integral–Derivative Control Optimization in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

The traditional PID controller in quadrotor UAVs has poor performance, a large overshoot, and a long adjustment time, which limit its stability and accuracy in practical applications. In order to solve this problem, an improved whale optimization fuzzy PID control strategy based on CRICLE chaos map initialization is proposed, and a detailed simulation analysis was carried out using MATLAB software (MATLAB R2022B). Firstly, to more realistically reflect quadrotor UAVs’ flight behavior, a dynamic simulation model was established, and the dynamics and kinematic characteristics of the aircraft were considered. Then, CRICLE chaotic mapping initialization was introduced to improve the global search ability of the whale optimization algorithm and to effectively initialize the parameters of the fuzzy PID controller. This improved initialization method helped to speed up the convergence process and improve the stability of the control system. In the simulation experiments, we compared the performance indicators of the improved CRICLE chaotic mapping initialization whale optimization fuzzy PID controller to the traditional PID and fuzzy PID controllers, including overshoot, adjustment time, etc. The results show that the proposed control strategy has better performance than the traditional PID and fuzzy PID controllers, significantly reduces overshoot, and achieves a significant improvement in adjustment time. Therefore, the improved CRICLE chaotic mapping initialization whale optimization fuzzy PID control strategy proposed in this study provides an effective solution for improving the performance of the quadrotor control system and has practical application potential.

Design principles of voltage controlled DC-DC boost converters through the integration of PID and model predictive control

This paper presents the design of the transfer function between the control and output variable of a DC-DC boost converter using a combination of Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) and output-based Model Predictive Control (MPC) mechanisms for eradicating the effect of the non-minimum phase (NMP) behavior on the system. This is made possible due to the existence of a right half plane (RHP) zero. It is observed that the MPC outperformed the conventionally designed PID approach by a significant margin. Based on the computed results, it can be emphasized that the combination of output-based MPC and PID controller demonstrated a strong alignment with optimal designs, exhibiting a fast convergence rate than PID and PID-IMC. Simulation results are presented to showcase the fast transient response and a high level of robustness of the proposed control methodology.

Tuning the Proportional-Integral-Derivative Control Parameters of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Using Artificial Neural Networks for Point-to-Point Trajectory Approach.

Nowadays, trajectory control is a significant issue for unmanned micro aerial vehicles (MAVs) due to large disturbances such as wind and storms. Trajectory control is typically implemented using a proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller. In order to achieve high accuracy in trajectory tracking, it is essential to set the PID gain parameters to optimum values. For this reason, separate gain values are set for roll, pitch and yaw movements before autonomous flight in quadrotor systems. Traditionally, this adjustment is performed manually or automatically in autotune mode. Given the constraints of narrow orchard corridors, the use of manual or autotune mode is neither practical nor effective, as the quadrotor system has to fly in narrow apple orchard corridors covered with hail nets. These reasons require the development of an innovative solution specific to quadrotor vehicles designed for constrained areas such as apple orchards. This paper recognizes the need for effective trajectory control in quadrotors and proposes a novel neural network-based approach to tuning the optimal PID control parameters. This new approach not only improves trajectory control efficiency but also addresses the unique challenges posed by environments with constrained locational characteristics. Flight simulations using the proposed neural network models have demonstrated successful trajectory tracking performance and highlighted the superiority of the feed-forward back propagation network (FFBPN), especially in latitude tracking within 7.52745 × 10-5 RMSE trajectory error. Simulation results support the high performance of the proposed approach for the development of automatic flight capabilities in challenging environments.

Learning control for body caudal undulation with soft sensory feedback

Soft bio-mimetic robotics is a growing field of research that seeks to close the gap with animal robustness and adaptability where conventional robots fall short. The embedding of sensors with the capability to discriminate between different body deformation modes is a key technological challenge in soft robotics to enhance robot control–a difficult task for this type of systems with high degrees of freedom. The recently conceived Linear Repetitive Learning Estimation Scheme (LRLES)–to be included in the traditional Proportional–integral–derivative (PID) control–is proposed here as a way to compensate for uncertain dynamics on a soft swimming robot, which is actuated with soft pneumatic actuators and equipped with soft sensors providing proprioceptive information pertaining to lateral body caudal bending akin to a goniometer. The proposed controller is derived in detail and experimentally validated, with the experiment consisting of tracking a desired trajectory for the bending angle envelope while continuously oscillating with a constant frequency. The results are compared vis a vis those achieved with the traditional PID controller, finding that the PID endowed with the LRLES outperforms the PID controller (though the latter has been separately tuned) and experimentally validating the novel controller’s effectiveness, accuracy, and matching speed.

Robust Fractional-Order PI/PD Controllers for a Cascade Control Structure of Servo Systems

In this paper, a cascade control structure is suggested to control servo systems that normally include a servo motor in coupling with two kinds of mechanism elements, a translational or rotational movement. These kinds of systems have high demands for performance in terms of fastest response and no overshoot/oscillation to a ramp function input. The fractional-order proportional integral (FOPI) and proportional derivative (FOPD) controllers are addressed to deal with those control problems due to their flexibility in tuning rules and robustness. The tuning rules are designed in the frequency domain based on the concept of the direct synthesis method and also ensure the robust stability of controlled systems by using the maximum sensitivity function. The M-Δ structure, using multiplicative output uncertainties for both control loops simultaneously, is addressed to justify the robustness of the controlled systems. Simulation studies are considered for two kinds of plants that prove the effectiveness of the proposed method, with good tracking of the ramp function input under the effects of the disturbances. In addition, the robustness of the controlled system is illustrated by a structured singular value (µ) plot in which its value is less than 1 over the frequency range.

Performance Analysis of Automatic Generation Control for a Multi-Area Interconnected System Using Genetic Algorithm and Particle Swarm Optimization Technique

The primary focus of this paper is to assess an interconnected power system using different optimization techniques. The main purpose is to employ different optimization techniques, including genetic algorithms (GA) and particle swarm optimization (PSO), to systematically enhance the performance of a multi-area or two-area automatic generation control (AGC) system, aiming to optimize the three PID controllers gain values and improve system performance under diverse loading conditions. Two case studies are conducted exploring different loading conditions in the megawatt (MW) range, including increasing load demand and decreasing load demand. The analysis involves four scenarios, covering without any kind of controller, another with solely a proportional integral derivative (PID) controller, a PID controller enhanced through a genetic algorithm (GA), and lastly, a PID controller improved through particle swarm optimization (PSO). The optimization process utilizes the integral time absolute error (ITAE) as the objective function to evaluate the system's performance. The simulation outcomes for ITAE, settling time, overshoot, and undershoot for frequency deviation of area one, area two, and power deviation in the tie-line are compared with previous similar studies to assess the novelty of this work. The article highlights the importance of the multi-area AGC system and the significance of different optimization techniques in improving its performance.

Shock-capturing PID controller for high-order methods with data-driven gain optimization

We present a novel shock-capturing strategy for high-order methods including discontinuous Galerkin (DG) method with data-driven gain optimization. Inspired by the classical control theory, we utilize a proportional–integral–derivative (PID) controller for capturing shock waves with monotonic subcell distributions. The proposed closed-loop control system for shock-capturing, named shock-capturing PID controller (SPID), consists of two key elements: error estimation based on the multi-dimensional limiting strategies (hMLP and hMLP_BD) and shock stabilization using the Laplacian artificial viscosity (LAV). The two elements are combined in a complementary manner to maximize the advantages of limiting strategy and artificial viscosity while overcoming each weakness. First, based on the multi-dimensional limiting process (MLP) condition and the troubled-boundary detector, the estimated error gives a signal to the SPID how much flow variables stray out of monotonic shock profiles. Second, the SPID estimates the amount of artificial viscosity to stabilize the target shock wave and superimposes numerical diffusion to the governing equations in the form of LAV. Each control action of the SPID (i.e., proportional, integral, and derivative) has a distinct role in capturing and stabilizing shock waves. The proportional action determines a minimal amount of background artificial viscosity. The integral action reinforces a shock-stabilizing numerical diffusion where the artificial viscosity by the proportional action alone is insufficient. The derivative action damps out sudden rises of error and spurious oscillations. The SPID incorporates the gain parameters that regulate the impact of each control action, and each gain parameter is determined via a surrogate-based optimization approach utilizing artificial neural networks (ANN). The SPID with the data-driven gain parameters is verified and validated by conducting extensive numerical tests and by comparing the results to other shock-capturing methods (hMLP, hMLP_BD, and Laplacian artificial viscosity). The numerical results demonstrate the excellent performance of SPID in terms of capturing shock waves and stabilizing shock-induced oscillations. Moreover, the SPID successfully preserves unsteady turbulent eddies for large-eddy simulations (LES) of subsonic and supersonic flows and improves convergence characteristics of steady transonic/supersonic flows.

Dynamic modeling and optimization of an eight bar stamping mechanism based on RBF neural network PID control

Introduction: Modern industrial manufacturing often requires the eight-bar stamping mechanism to have high motion accuracy and stability. To meet these stringent requirements, traditional control techniques such as proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control need to be improved.Methods: In this study, radial basis function neural network is introduced to improve the traditional proportional integral derivative control technique. The improved proportional integral derivative technique is applied to the modeling and optimization of eight kinds of bar stamping mechanisms.Results: Comparing the improved control technology, the experiment showed that the peak time and adjustment time of the improved technology were 0.516 s and 1.038 s, respectively, which are better than the comparative control technology. In addition, in the comparative analysis of the eight bar stamping mechanism, the proposed architecture scored 9.3 points in operational efficiency, which is significantly greater than the comparative architecture.Discussion: The results show that the combination of PID control strategy and radial basis function neural network provides a powerful tool for dynamic modeling and optimization of eight-bar stamping mechanism. It not only provides enhanced motion accuracy and stability, but also brings significant practicality to industrial manufacturing. This integration opens up new possibilities for improving the performance of complex mechanical systems to meet the evolving needs of modern manufacturing.
